"The Silver Cloud 3 was bought in February 2006 and was built to the special order of Jack Barclay personally, later put into stock, sold and repurchased by JB Ltd and kept as a demonstrator so has an interesting history."
Following the upload of photos the website in June 2020 of the RREC Middlesex Section in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, Stephen sent in photos of his cars and adds the following;
Having been a member of the section since 1975 it was a trip down memory lane seeing those I knew like Maurice Rixon, Jim Blagden, and Les Brennan. And of all things a photo of Andrew Beer on a Scottish tour. It was Andrew who brought me into the section and the club. He was a senior partner in the legal firm of Wilde Sapte & Co (established in 1832 I believe) who were solicitors to the bank I worked for established in 1833.
Andrew had a white 20 hp doctors coupe with artillery wheels for many years which he sold after inheriting a 20/25 from either his father or father in law. Happy days indeed.
