"I attach a few pics of "Margaret" my 1979 RR Silver Shadow (Red Badge Anniversary Edition)
I purchased her in 2006 from the original owner, who said he purchased from Jack Barclay (first through his company) and placed the order the week Margaret Thatcher was elected, hence the name.
He told me that after he placed the order, they offered it for him to be one of the limited edition "75th anniversary of RR" special edition models, which he agreed to. During the build process he was told that if he wanted to sell it on at a profit, before delivery, as RR announced they were due to stop production of the Silver Shadow II models the next year and Jack Barclay had increased demand for the model.
It was finally delivered in September 1979
